RITH targets Drayangs

RITH targets DrayangsTo enhance the skills and services in Drayangs, the Royal Institute for Tourism and Hospitality (RITH) organised day-long hospitality training as the institute observed the community and outreach day, today.

The Director of Royal Institute for Tourism, Karma Thinley said Drayangs are important part of tourism industry and they need to be given support just like any other industry.

During the day-long training, the employees were taught the importance of hygiene and sanitation, customer services and preparation of fast foods.

The owner of Drayangs said such trainings will help improve their services. They said they hardly get such trainings.

More such trainings will be organized, according to Karma Thinley.

More than 150 employees and the owners of Drayangs in Thimphu attended the training.

As part of community and outreach day, a blood donation program was also conducted by the institute.
