The Royal Institute of Management, RIM, in Thimphu will have a centre that promotes innovative approaches toward providing user-friendly public services. The RIM officially launched CoDesign Experience Space or CoDES, today.

The centre will provide training and workshops, and facilitate projects for innovative approaches to transform public service. Government officials and representatives from other agencies attended the launch.

According to the RIM, all agencies including private, corporate, and public sectors can approach the CoDES website to develop innovative design thinking that focuses on collaboration between designers and users.

So far, five public service projects have been facilitated by the RIM using a design thinking approach.
