Resurfacing of Samtse-Tendruk highway to complete by monsoon, next year

Resurfacing and construction of permanent works along the Samtse-Tendruk road network is expected to be complete before the arrival of next monsoon. As part of the government’s National Day Footprint Initiative, contracts for the much-expected renovation work were awarded only in July despite the announcement of Nu 120 M budget over a year ago.
