Flash flood is a looming threat some households of Phuentshothang and Khamaedthang chiwogs in Samdrup Jongkhar have to live with every monsoon.

Fed by the rains, Nyeraama Chhu flowing by their houses swells increasing the risks of breaking its banks. People say it is time that mitigation works are carried out before a major disaster strikes.
