The Ranjung Foundation, under the patronage of Dungsey Garab Rimpoche, donated half a Million Ngultrum to a kidney patient in Paro, Sunday.
Dechen Wangmo, 31, whose both kidneys have failed, received the money.
She is expected to travel to India after a month for surgery.
