Punjab Technical University in India will be sharing its resources and providing various scholarships to the Royal University of Bhutan. A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect was signed between the RUB and Punjab Technical University this morning.
It was signed by the Vice Chancellor of the two universities, Dasho Dr. Pema Thinley and Professor Dr. Rajnesh Arora.
The vice-chancellor of the Punjab Technical University expressed interest in setting up an education centre in Bhutan. 
All the heads of the colleges from Bhutan took part in the signing through video conference.
They also discussed about various issues and constraints faced by the colleges.
