Lack of professionalism continues to be a major challenge plaguing the Bhutanese media says the Bhutan Information and Media Impact Study 2013. The study also points out other challenges like sustainability issues  and the media’s heavy dependence on public sector advertisement.

The Chief of Infocomm and Media Development Division, Ministry of Information and Communications,  Monira A.Y.Tshewang, and the Editor of Bhutan Observer and Board Member of Bhutan Media Foundation, Needrup Zangpo discuss more on the NewsHour on Professionalism in Media.
