A 23-year old woman who works in one of the Drayangs in Bumthang has been admitted in Wangdicholing Hospital on Thursday after police rescued her from a suicide attempt.
The doctor at the hospital said the woman was under the influence of drugs when the police brought her to the hospital. The woman is currently under medical supervision and a policewoman has been deputed to take care of her at the hospital as she is said to have suicidal thoughts.
She will be handed over to her parents before being referred to a rehabilitation centre.
