Police in Thimphu arrested three more business owners for breaching the COVID-19 protocols yesterday. They were caught operating their businesses after 9 PM. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Police with DeSuups are patrolling every day with special intensive ad-hoc patrolling thrice a week.
To date, police have apprehended 13 businesses for breaching the law. The defaulters are charged for the breach of Public Order and Tranquillity.
The three cases were forwarded to the court. Meanwhile, all 13 of them were released on bail.
