PM-BoIC-The Prime Minister will be sending officials from the Business Opportunity and Information Centre (BOiC) to Thrimshing, Kangpar and Lumang Gewogs in Trashigang to encourage people to avail services from the centre.

The BOiC have so far approved over 2,000 projects worth more than Nu 500 M. Of that, 108 projects are from Trashigang. But Thrimshing and Lumang Gewogs do not have a single approved project.

During the meeting, Lyonchhen urged the people to take full advantage of services available. He told the people to come forward with business ideas and take loans from the centre.

“We will send BOiC officials to advocate about the centre and its opportunities. Moreover, with consultation and help from Lyonpo Dorji Choden, five or six business proposals will be prepared to set an example. So if they can do well and set example in the gewog, I think other people will follow your example and avail services from the center.”

Prime Minister also told the people to have patience while waiting for the projects to get approved.

Lyonchhen said the project proposals need to be scrutinised since people try to come up with fake business ideas to get money.
