Lyonchhoen Jigmi Y. Thinley and the Bhutanese delegation met with the Bhutanese community in New York on Sunday.
The gathering was organised by the United Bhutanese Association in New York, which was established in January this year
The President of the Association, Lotey Gyelsthen, on behalf of the Bhutanese community, presented Lyonchhoen UD$ 5,200 for the reconstruction of Wangduephodrang Dzong.
This is the second contribution made by the Bhutanese community towards the Wangduephodrang Dzong Reconstruction Fund. In the first one, they contributed US$ 14,650.
