The Ambassador of Italy to India, Lorenzo Angeloni called on the Prime Minister at Gyalyong Tshogkhang, this afternoon.
Ambassador Angeloni said Italy is keen to explore newer areas of cooperation particularly in research, trainings, and sports.
Lyonchhen said Bhutan welcomes Italy’s offer to enhance collaboration and cooperation.
“Bhutan has benefitted a lot from Italy’s assistance.” The Prime Minister said Italy’s support in the form of human resource development and their assistance in developing quality traditional medicines in Bhutan have been fruitful.
