PM Chairs the UNESCAP in Bangkok“Millennium Development Goals remain an unfinished business for the Asia and Pacific region”, Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay said this while speaking at the session of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Lyonchhen, who is the Chair of the 70th session of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, told the regional gathering that the Asia and Pacific region must strive together to accelerate its progress towards achieving the remaining millennium goals and targets.

The theme of the 70th Commission Session is “Regional Connectivity for Shared Prosperity”.
