PM begins eastern tour

The Prime Minister Jigmi Y. Thinley arrived at Silambi in Monggar this evening.

En route to Silambi, Lyonchhoen met and interacted with the people of Kheng region in Monggar. He spoke to the people on the development activities.

Lyonchhoen is on a-week-long visit to personally oversee the 10th five year plan development in remote villages.

Meanwhile, the Opposition Leader, Tshering Tobgay, returned to the capital after visiting his constituency in Sombaykha and Gakiling Gewogs in Haa. The Opposition Leader was on a nine-day tour to brief the people on the resolutions of the 8th and 9th sessions of the Parliament.
