Chhungku Dawa, the only woman aspiring candidate for the Thromde election won from her Demkhong during the Dhamngoi Zomdu in Phuentshogling today. She secured 42 votes while Tandin Wangchuk secured 18 votes.
Of the 200 registered voters in Phuentshogling Maed, only 60 came to cast their votes. Meanwhile, the Dhamngoi Zomdu for Phuentsholing Toed will be conducted tomorrow.
There are over 900 registered voters in Phuentshogling Thromde.
