Pep City won the Recovery Cup by beating Pep City FC by 6 to 4 in the summer futsal, today. Sixteen teams took part in the week-long tournament.
The Futsal Recovery Cup was organised to create awareness on ill-effects of drugs and alcohol. It was also to engage the youth in the world of futsal during their summer break.
The winner, Pep City FC, took home the title with a cash prize of Nu. 20,000 and the runners up a trophy and a cash prize of Nu. 15,000.
The drop-in center under Youth Development Fund organised the Recovery Cup this year.
