Located inside the national protected area, Korphu Gewog in Trongsa is challenged with guarding their fields against wild animals every year. However, the issue is expected to be resolved with the construction of a 5-kilometre channel fencing surrounding all the land in the gewog.
The gewog office says they are hoping to complete the construction before the end of the current Five Year Plan.
