The Pay Commission had asked for one month extension to complete the report on the findings of salary revision of the Public Servants. The much awaited report was supposed to be presented by the Finance Minister in the National Assembly, yesterday.

The government agreed on one-month extension.

The Pay Commission will now have to submit their report on March 12. The commission was established on November 13, last year. They were given three months to review salary and benefits of Public Servants   and submit their recommendations to the Government.
