The pass percentage for this year’s Preliminary Examination for the Bhutan Civil Service Examination increased by over 10 per cent as compared to last year. Announcing the result today, the commission revealed over 2,100 graduates this year have successfully qualified for the main examination which will be held in January next year.

There were 4,400 graduates who sat for the Preliminary Examination which was conducted on November 8.

The qualified graduates will now have to compete for the 615 government vacancies announced by the Royal Civil Service Commission. Last year, of the 3,256 graduates, only 1,259 candidates could make it through to the main examination.
