Outbreak of ARI reported in Zhemgang

Outbreak of ARI reported in ZhemgangMore than 100 students from Sonamthang Central School under Zhemgang Dzongkhag are down with Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI).

The outbreak was first reported to the Panbang Basic Health Unit, yesterday.

Health officials said dry air and seasonal change caused the infection to go viral.

The affected have been quarantined.

Acute Respiratory Infection is a disease with high fever, severe headache, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting.
