The Opposition Leader, Tshering Tobgay, said they have succeeded in setting a precedence of opposing constructively by giving voice to the unvoiced in the parliament.
He said the concept of opposition party, being new and having only two members in the parliament, made it more challenging.
People’s Democratic Party served as the first opposition after the first elections to usher in democracy in 2008. Of the 47 constituencies, PDP could win only two seats by making them perhaps the smallest opposition in the world.
Meanwhile, the Opposition Leader also acknowledged the support of all the institutions for the help rendered to complete their tenure successfully.
