Winning the three consecutive sets back-to-back, Team Old Friends won the Open Veteran Volleyball Championship in the capital, today.
The team claimed the winner’s title after defeating a local team from Phuentshogling and took home a cash prize of Nu 30,000 while the runners up team walked away with Nu 20,000.
Some seven teams from across the country competed in the championship. The Open Veteran Volleyball Championship is an annual sporting affair organised by Bhutan Volley Federation.
