LhakhangKarp-Ha-OAGThe Attorney General, in a telephonic interview, told BBS that the office has almost finished reviewing Lhakhang Karpo case.

The case involves Haa’s former Dzongda and the current foreign affairs Minister, Rinzin Dorje.

The Anti-Corruption Commission’s investigation, which took two years, reveals that the contract of sawing timber was awarded unilaterally by the Former Haa Dzongda to a sawmill contractor.

The investigation also found out the construction materials siphoned off from the Lhakhang construction site.

The register, which keeps a tab of labourers’ payment, was also found to be tampered with.
