Poll day is this Friday-the May 31, and on the Election calendar: by 9 am tomorrow, political parties are to end their campaigns for the primary round of the National Assembly elections.

Political parties, party supporters, and the media including social media users are not allowed to campaign or post anything that could qualify as campaigning beginning from 9 am tomorrow until the closing of the primary polls.

The poll day is a public holiday and all offices and businesses will remain closed. Thursday is the last day for receiving postal ballots by the returning officers.

For security reasons, the international border gates will be sealed and movement of people and vehicles through the gates will be restricted from 6 pm on Thursday until 6 pm on Friday.
