Former Thimphu Dzongda Lhab Dorji has been appointed as the new President of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) in Thimphu. He becomes the first civil servant to surrender his Kabney and Patang to the Royal Privy Council, today.
Lhab Dorji had served 13 years as Dzongda. He served as Thimphu Dzongda from 2009-14.
