His Holiness the Je Khenpo handed over the land registration certificate of the Foothill Medicinal Recreational Park in Sarpang to the Gelephu Thromde, today.

Officials from the Gelephu Thromde led by the Thrompon received the land registration certificate and the Kasho detailing the transfer and its amenities at His Holiness’ residence in Lungtenphu, Thimphu.

The Kasho was issued following the birth of Her Royal Highness the Princess on the ninth of September. The five-acre land in Samtenling Gewog, where the Foothill Medicinal Recreational Park is situated, was offered to His Holiness by an elderly couple.

The government provided Nu 16 M to develop the park.
