His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over a weeklong Guru Dramar Drupchen at Namdroling Goenzin Dratshang in Lhuentse. The Drupchen began yesterday.
Along with His Holiness the Je Khenpo, 170 monks from the Dratshang are performing the ritual. The Drupchen will end on Thursday.
This year’s annual Drupchen is being performed to combat the global pandemic and for the wellbeing of all sentient beings.
His Holiness the Je Khenpo first instituted the Guru Dramar Drupchen in 2016 since Namdruling is also located at the sacred site of Guru Dramar.
