A 20-year-old man from Paro is under Thimphu police custody for alleged involvement in a battery case.

He was surrendered by his sister to the Thimphu police yesterday after she was informed by the police with regards to his involvement in a bullying case that happened in June this year. The man was detained for allegedly filming the video of the 20-year-old man bullying a minor that went viral since 4th August. With prompt action from Thimphu Police, the main accused in the video was arrested the following day after the video went viral on social media. According to police, once the investigation is complete, they will forward the case to the court.
