The recent arrests of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bhutan Telecom, Tshewang Gyeltshen and the former Chang Gup, Naku are reportedly related.
Trapped Leopard rescued
The wildlife rescue team rescued and safely released a common leopard, an endangered specie, into the wild, yesterday. It was caught in a trap, set up by a villager of Umling Gewog in Sarpang Dzongkhag.

Ugyen Academy won the Under-19 boys school cricket tournament held in Punakha. They defeated Bajo Higher Secondary School. The final was played yesterday. Five schools from Wangdue Phodrang and Punakha took part in the tournament. It was organised by Bhutan Cricket Council Board, and co-hosted by Ugyen academy.
