Body of a man recovered

A body of a man was recovered from the Kurichhu Hydropower Dam this morning, after a week long search. The Police handed over the body to the family members.

The Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, announced that the farm road Kawang Gewog under Thimphu will be blacktopped. He made the announcement during his visit to Kawang Gewog Centre, yesterday. The Prime Minister said blacktopping the road would improve the livelihood and business opportunities of the community. The 3.3-kilometre road will be blacktopped in October this year. The existing farm road was constructed in 2003.
