Three apprehended for chorten vandalism

Police in Trongsa and Wangdue Phodrang have apprehended three men for vandalising chortens.

Thimphu ‘A’ Team won the first International Taekwondo Championship which was held in Thimphu. While Bodoland Taekwondo Club from India came second, Thimphu Private Taekwondo Club stood third. The DHSS boy’s team defeated Khangku Middle Secondary School, while DHSS girl’s team defeated Kuenga Higher Secondary School in the final. A total of 15 teams, including seven girls’ team, took part in the tournament.
