CRRH sees no infrastructure development

The Gelegphu hospital was upgraded to Central Regional Referral Hospital, CRRH, in 2005. The hospital had, however, not seen any infrastructural development. With an increasing number of patients, the hospital is now having problems with space.

Bhutan and Thailand sign agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation

Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay called on the Prime Minister of Thailand Yingluck Shinawatra at the Government house in Bangkok today. The Minister of Economic Affairs, Norbu Wangchuk, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand signed an agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation in presence of the two premiers.

Machine unused, no proper room

Due to high radiation leakage the x-ray machine at Kanglung Basic Health Unit was forced to shut down since June this year. The BHU is now referring patients to Trashigang hospital and Yongphula to get the service.
