Team Haa United emerged the winner of an archery tournament organised by Chundu Tsherig Tshogpa. The team members bagged an 11 inch Tempa statue each. Team Maneng Guru came second and the team members took home a 10 inch Guru statue each. Team Luesho Ngaa placed third and players were given 9 inch Guru statues.

Team Khamsa Workshop has won the Rinpung archery tournament in Paro. Team Kinley Construction emerged second and Team Norphel placed third. The winning team took home Chhoe Bum sets, and the 1st runners-up team was given washing machines. The 2nd runners-up received TV sets.

ACC requests High Court to uphold District Court’s verdict on Gyalpoizhing

In its rebuttal statement at the high court today, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) requested the court’s full bench to uphold the Monggar court’s verdict on the Gyalpoizhing land allotment case.

1000 days to achieve Millennium Goals

373 postal ballot applications rejected in Tsirang

The office of the Returning Officer in Tsirang received 1,583 postal ballot applications from 11th of last month until yesterday.  Of that, 373 applications have been rejected.
