A forest fire has been raging on for the third day today in Monggar. It started from Resa in Saling Gewog and has spread to Kengkhar and Jurmey Gewogs now.

Two men, both 20 are recovering at the Gelephu Regional Referral Hospital, after they were stabbed last night. The incident took place between Tali Dratshang and the hospital at around 9:30 pm.

The five-day Zhemgang Tshechu is began yesterday. Hundreds of people from all over Zhemgang gathered to witness the 30-year-old Tshechu.
