The investigation into the cause of the Kuri-Gongri bridge collapse is still ongoing. This was said by the Infrastructure and Transport minister during the Meet the Press session today. The minister also clarified that new panels were used during the reconstruction of the bridge after the first collapse. The minister also said that a decision will soon be taken on whether to construct a bailey bridge with newly procured materials or a modular bridge over the river.
