The nationwide second dose of COVID vaccination for children aged five to 11 years commenced today. It is following the National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group’s recommendation to provide the dose for the same cohort after an interval of three to four weeks. The first roll-out of the vaccine was carried out last month.

Approximately 83,000 children will be vaccinated by April 10.
