The Second Coca-Cola National Football League kicked off in Thimphu, yesterday. The first match saw Thimphu City FC face off against Yeedzin FC. Yeedzin managed to win the match four goals to Thimphu City’s one.
Yeedzin took the lead through Striker Chencho Gyaltshen in the 7th minute. Chencho scored Yeedzin’s second goal in 46 minutes. Veteran Passang Tshering gave Thimphu City a fighting chance in 52 minutes with a goal, but Yeedzin’s Yeshi Dorji scored a third goal in 56 minutes. Dhan Badhur scored Yeedzin’s fourth goal sealing the team’s victory in the 67th minute.
