The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, called on the Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay. The two leaders discussed bilateral issues and other issues of mutual concerns.
Prior to his departure from India yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, India rejoices in Bhutan’s remarkable economic growth and its progress and prosperity.
The Indian Prime Minister committed to continuing the unstinted support to Bhutan in its development efforts. While in the country, Mr. Modi and the Bhutanese leaders will review the development cooperation programs.
Tomorrow, Mr. Modi will address the parliament. He will also lay the foundation stone for a new hydropower project.
