In the finals of the Eastern Dzongkhag Yangphel style Archery Tournament, team Nagtsho Samden from Samdrup Jongkhar took away the first prize, and each player was given a LED 22 inch TV. The second prize, a refrigerator each went to team Trashigang Dzongkhag while team Timsung Charo with a washing machine each took the third place.
Nagtsho Samden won by completing two sets while Trashigang Dzongkhag team with one set. Nineteen teams from five Dzongkhags in the region participated in the tournament organized by the Trashigang Dzongkhag Sports Association.
