MoU on sports signed between Bhutan and Thailand

MoU on sports signed between Bhutan and Thailand- A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Bhutan Olympic Committee and National Olympic Committee of Thailand, today. The MoU was signed to promote sports between Bhutan and Thailand.

The Representative of His Majesty the King and President of BOC, His Royal Highness Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck and the National Olympic Committee of Thailand’s President, General Yuthasak Sasiprapha signed the MoU.

The MoU would allow athletes of both the countries training opportunities, exchange of officials, staff, coaches, and experts, among others.

The MoU is the outcome of the discussions between the two countries during the first Youth Olympic Games, 2010 in Singapore.
