Monggar District Court acquits woman charged with false reporting

The Monggar District Court acquitted the woman who was charged with reporting false information to the Monggar hospital last month. The court passed the judgement today.

Monggar police in June arrested the 45-year-old woman after she took a newborn to the hospital claiming that she found the baby abandoned at Changshingpek. Upon investigation, the police found that the woman got the baby from her neighbour.

As per the judgement, she had given false information to protect the baby.

The court also acquitted the mother of the infant.
