Monggar District Court sentenced two men to one year and one month imprisonment each for smuggling marijuana. The men, 65-year-old from Lhuentse and 39-year-old from Monggar were arrested in May for possessing 57 pieces of grass hashish weighing about 226 grams. They also had 6 grams of grass cannabis.
They were both convicted for possession of controlled substance. They can pay in lieu of the prison term within the next 10 days.
