The Media Arbitrator for the bye-election of Monggar and Nganglam constituencies instructed Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa to remove a video from its social media page today. A campaign video was uploaded on social media yesterday. According to the Media Arbitrator, the campaign video was not approved by the Election Commission of Bhutan (ECB).

As per the ECB, any campaign materials needs to be approved by the ECB. And the Office of the Media Arbitrator monitors all media coverage including social media during the Election Period to ensure free and fair conduct of elections.
