Police in Thimphu arrested four men, aged between 20-25 years old, in connection to the murder of a 26-year-old man early this morning. The deceased, a widower, was brutally murdered earlier at around 12:30 am.
The incident took place at Changjiji. The suspects along with the deceased and his friends were in the same bar where the brawl broke out among them. Police said the body of the deceased was found 150 metres away from the bar, drenched in the blood.
Police said there were multiple cuts on his face, neck and on the left side of the collar bone. Two other friends of the deceased were also stabbed but reported to be in stable condition at the JDWNRH in Thimphu.
The suspects were arrested this morning at around 9:30 am from Changjiji and Olakha areas. All the suspects are out of school youth. Some more are reported to be at large.
Police are investigating the case.
