The Panbang Dungkhag Court sentenced a 36-year-old man from Goshing Gewog of Zhemgang to 25 years in prison for raping his 10-year-old daughter.
The judgement was passed yesterday.
He was convicted of raping his minor daughter. The incident happened in December last year.
The court also asked him to pay Nu 225,000 to the girl’s mother, the convict’s wife as compensation.
