Dagana District Court sentenced a 29-year-old man to six months in prison for negligent homicide of a 40-year-old man. The offender had laid an arrow trap that killed a 40-year-old man when the deceased accidentally stepped on it. The trap arrow was placed to protect maize form wild animals.
The offender was also asked to pay Nu 300,000 as compensation to family of the deceased. He can pay in lieu of imprisonment.
