A 30-year-old man died on the impact when the truck he was driving went off the Thimphu-Phuentshogling highway on Tuesday.

The spot where the accident happened was some 14 kilometres away from Phuentshogling towards Sorchen.

Police recovered deceased’s body and the truck yesterday. Careless driving is suspected to have caused the accident.

Police officials in Phuentshogling said Thimphu-Phuentshogling highway has busiest traffic in the country and driving with caution is sincerely advised to the motorists.
