Police are looking for the driver of a Hyundai Tucson involved in a hit-and-run case in which a 27-year-old man was injured.
The incident took place on the night of January 2 in the area popularly known as the Hongkong market.
The injured man was reportedly fleeing after hitting a man with a whisky bottle following a scuffle when the driver of the Hyundai Tucson accidentally hit him and fled the scene.
He is being treated at the national referral hospital.
The man whom he hit on the head with the bottle came and filed a complaint with the police yesterday. The complainant has been detained by the police after it transpired that they were gambling when the scuffle broke out between the two.
Gambling is illegal in the Kingdom.
