A 23-year-old man died of electrocution on Tuesday morning in Buli, Zhemgang. He was electrocuted while he was on a tree cutting leaves meant for fodder.
The deceased’s sister, who was at the scene, said a falling branch hit the electric wire below which apparently caused short circuit. She said she saw her brother falling from the tree with severe burn on his hands and body.
The deceased is out of school youth and was helping his parents at home.
