A 25-year-old man died on the spot after the Maruti car he was driving went off the road at Lam Pelri. The accident took place yesterday morning at around 8 am.
The car fell some 150 metre below the road. The car carrying two passengers were travelling from Chapcha to Dagana.
Both the passengers were referred to the National Referral hospital in Thimphu with critical conditions.
The deceased is from Damchu under Chapcha gewog in Chukha. Police suspect skidding on ice to have caused the accident.
